No, they were correct. I just checked and Hot is at #55 on the Daily chart. It also looks like they have a bside at #82.

As for the topic at hand, they would be the #2 boy group if you're only doing active 3rd gen groups. Exo is far bigger with both fandom and GP. They have certified national hits too.
