im tired of blinks blaming bgs instead of yg

    im a blink, ikonic, and tueme and a casual fan of the other yg groups. now i cant speak for every single artist under yg, but i can talk about blackpink, ikon, and treasure and all of them get mistreated by yg. i could make 3 seperate posts on the mistreatment each group has faced but thats not even the point of this thread.


    why do blinks act like its the bgs that make the decisions and don't let them have a comeback? isnt it yg?

    and blinks act like its because of the bgs that blackpink doesnt comeback? be honest. blackpink still wouldnt have had that many comebacks if they were the only idol group in that entire company.


    did you guys know that treasure box finished in january 2019 and then tuemes waited a whole year and a half for yg to finally debut them in august 2020. now its going almost be 2 years and we've only had 2 albums (a third coming). i know that blackpink has it worse but treasure isnt overflowing with comebacks and superior treatment like some blinks claim.


    i want a bp comeback as much as every other blink but first of all, treasure and blackpink can both make a summer comeback and second if blackpink doesnt, blame yg instead of treasure. stop blaming treasure who prob wants blackpink to comeback too.

    Agree with everything. All groups under YG could have better promotion and more comebacks if YG just knew how to manage their artists. It's not the groups fault that YG is shit

    Honestly blinks should blame Teddy, blackpink is his group, he's their producer and he admitted that he is very picky when choosing the songs which is why they take a long time to comeback.

    The other yg groups function differently and they have more comebacks which is why I think the problem is mainly (but not solely) Teddy.


    With that being said Blackpink is the most mistreatment/mismanaged yg group and they deserve better.


    Other yg groups are also mistreated (Yg put winner on hiatus for nearly 2 years just after debut, they were the most mistreated during rookie years despite their huge success). Nonetheless it's insane that such a successful group like bp have very few songs when they're in their 6th year.

    Tbh 2 albums in 2 years is very generous coming from yg.

    Blinks had to beg, their 1st mini album was in 2018.


    I'm an ic, not a blink btw.

    Winner had it very hard during rookie years, but in term of number of songs, no yg group come close to Blackpink's mistreatment.

    double standard my ass both ikon and treasure were on hiatus for 1 year,winner for 2 years longer than bp and bb for 5 years. Yg just doesn't let their gps comeback often stop blaming it on the bgs.

    Ikon got 3 cbs back to back after LS while np didn't in 2018, rookie treasure has more songa than rookie bp ever did, excuses and excuses yg bg stan

    With their boy groups they can afford to release a flop.

    But even Teddy said that when BP releases a song, it has to be a mega hit.

    And I guess they will come back with something similar they have been doing for so long so they need time for it to be new and exciting. Plus we saw what happens when they have comebacks back to back. The hype wasn't the same for LSG.

    Don't blame it on yg bgs. They never depend on teddy or BP's producers for their projects. They do all the work alone. Blame it on your girls for not being able to produce and teddy for being a lazy producer. All of their bgs had long breaks too not only BP.

    Still it wasn't a big hit like HYLT. Even though it charted for a long time, it did decently compared to their other hits. Not to mention that the Korean charts are not what they used to be. So charting with 300k for a few months is not the same as HYLT.

    The song didn't do much outside of melon.
