Why do people think jenkai was a cover up?

    Solo was already huge in korea, jennie got the crown of it girl. Kai has always been popular in korea but not that big internationally if anything it only favoured Kai. Why'd yg allow other Companies to use their own artists for PR?

    As an outsider who doesn't belong wither of the fandom I don't think it makes any sense for them to fake this whole thing.

    I never understood this theory tbh, I don't get why yg would give her a dating scandal during her first solo promo...

    Also yg doesn't usually messes with their artists personal lives.

    To me this while fake dating doesn't make sense

    According to people, Jenkai was supposed to remove the heat from Jennie's lazy dancing scandal.

    yeah the burning sun scandal was going around that time which can also raise suspicions but whether this was a cover up or not at least it was confirmed

    KAI was never huge internationally ? Kai is a member of EXO, one of the Boygroup with the biggest international fandom and was always in the eyes of the big fashion brand like Gucci

    I think this theory arose because they broke up hella fast after it was revealed


    But yeah they were obviously dating for real, some AKP messiah actually predicted it months in advance because their IG feeds were very similar or something. When Jenkai was a thing, Bp were already bigger than Exo internationally, D4 was bigger than any Exo song in years and Jennie had just released a successful solo. Not to mention SM had already moved their focus from Exo to NCT at that point...literally neither company had anything to gain by faking a scandal but people still ran with the theory

    Exactly and they match eo vibe way too much I once told someone I won't be suprised if they are dating just by looking at their IGs.

    There was a government thing going on at the time so they were supposedly used as deflection. Never mind that YG literally never cooperate with anything they don't want to do and that's why half the Korean media hates them. YG himself was also disliked by President Moon because he was close to the former President. So why would they volunteer up their biggest female artist right before she was about to release a song about how she doesn't need a man?


    I think Jennie went on a date with Kai, they didn't bother to take adequate privacy measures (hello to yesterday's Jennie), and then when the press got them they decided it wasn't worth the pressure.

    Why do people feel the need to come how with an elaborate theory every time Jennie dates someone?

    Let's not lie to ourselves, Kai was never as big as BTS maknae line internationally. He was pushed as the center and that's why he always trending in korea. Jennie was much bigger back then despite being a rookie.

    He is actually one of the biggest BG idols internationally right now after BTS. Even recently we had some stats on that based on Twitter/YouTube/Google etc. And he has many high profile endorsements. Why tf are we painting him as some nugu lol.


    Jennie dated someone popular. Is he as popular as jennie? Maybe not but that doesn’t make him some bottom feeder. He is a top star in kpop whether you want to admit it or not.
