i think she would've tried to stay in shape to reprise her role or something but then again, she's in her 60's so i can't really blame her. i was lucky enough to see an advanced screening of the top gun sequel. shout out to piratebay. the movie was pretty cool. i was kinda worried that they would take the lazy, convoluted multiverse approach like every other film these days but i'm glad they just focused on making a fun movie instead. jennifer connelly is in her 50's but she looks great and played the leading lady role well. they had a real diverse younger cast of up and comers that played the new generation of pilots and they all did a pretty good job. perfect example of diversity done right instead of all that eyeroll inducing, insufferable pandering that most movies for some reason all have nowadays. the best parts are definitely when they're up in the air. all the actors did their own stunts and actually flew in the jets. you can't really fake the toll of increased gravity on your body and you get to see the actors struggle to not pass out when they do rapid spins and stuff. the fight scenes in the air were pretty tense. you kinda end up clenching your butt along with the actors when they're in a tough spot. i don't really wanna spoil anything. i think this movie is worth watching in the theater. pandemic is over. stop being scared. go out there and have fun. i'll definitely go see this one in the big screen when it comes out a couple of days from now
it's kinda messed up that they didn't tell this actress that they were planning for a sequel decades later
