this is almost like a non-stigmatised way of promoting shipping lol. I ain’t judging tho; more & more bl dramas have been coming out from many asian countries in the past decade so good for struggling idols to cash in on a lucrative market.

For Jaechan it was his decision to do it. In fact the company was very against it initially because of the stigma but Jaechan managed to convince them otherwise and the company then fully supported it. The blow up of SE was not like they were thinking of using BLs to make them popular, it kinda just happened because the show was good and the actors had good chemistry.
Thing is I hope this is something the members want to do and not something the company force them to do.

that’s great to hear. Love it when passion projects organically blow up instead of blatant cash grabs lol. The quality is almost always guaranteed to be better in the former scenario.
