Glitch Mode - Saturday Drip

I. Introduction

"Saturday Drip" is the seventh track on Glitch Mode, the second Korean studio album from NCT Dream. It was released on March 28, 2022. It is also the 10th track on the repackage, Beatbox.

The album features all 7 members.

Unusually for NCT Dream, the group's three main vocalists do not appear on this song, but the four rappers do (Mark, Jeno, Jaemin and Jisung).

It was described as "a hip-hop genre song with the repetition of witty synth sounds that reminds us of hip hop in the 90s. The lyrics describe Saturday night where we relieve the fatigue accumulated over the week and enjoy myself the most, and the flow that expresses indifferent and casually gives a cool charm."

The song's lyrics reference the historical Roman general Caesar's alleged claim "veni vidi vici," or "I came, I saw, I conquered." The lyrics also reference the painter Jackson Pollock, who was famous for his drip painting technique.

NCT Dream is a sub-unit of NCT.
