NCT 2018 Empathy - Without You (Chinese Version)

I. Introduction

"Without You (Chinese Version)" is the eleventh song on NCT's first full Korean studio album, Empathy. The album was released on March 14, 2018, while this song was previously released as a single on April 9, 2016.

This album was the first all-unit album, featuring all members from all the units at the time. This included 18 members from the three units, NCT U, NCT 127 and NCT Dream. (WayV would be added the year after this release.) The Empathy project also officially introduced members Kun, Jungwoo, and Lucas.

Several of the songs on the album were previously released through 2016-18. This song was NCT's second single and was released in April 2016 before the NCT 127 and NCT Dream sub-units had officially debuted. It was co-written by legendary SM songwriter and producer, Yoo Young-jin.

This song is by NCT U and is in Korean and English. NCT U is a rotational unit where specific members are selected to match the song. This song features these members: Taeil, Doyoungand Jaehyun, the three main vocalists in NCT 127. This is a vocally driven song.
