NCT 2018 Empathy - Touch

    I. Introduction

    "Touch" is the fifth song on NCT's first full Korean studio album, Empathy. The album was released on March 14, 2018, while this song was pre-released the day before eon March 13.


    This album was the first all-unit album, featuring all members from all the units at the time. This included 18 members from the three units, NCT U, NCT 127 and NCT Dream. (WayV would be added the year after this release.) The Empathy project also officially introduced members Kun, Jungwoo, and Lucas.


    Several of the songs on the album were previously released through 2016-18, however this song was new for the album. This song was pre-released ahead of the album. NCT all-unit albums feature songs from each of the sub-units.


    This song was NCT 127's contribution to the album. Where NCT Dream's song emphasized a more mature sound, NCT 127's song also emphasized a different side: a soft, bright, playful side.
