37.5MHz Haechan Radio


  • I. Introduction

    37.5MHz Haechan Radio is an ongoing viewable radio show that interviews members of the boy group NCT and is hosted by member Haechan. Guests talk about their life and work and play games.


    II. Overview

    The group structure of NCT is unique among K-Pop groups due to the fact that the concept of NCT is an ever expanding group with "unlimited" members and it is comprised of several individual subunits. Currently there are 23 members in NCT, making up four individual subunits.


    As promotional support for the sub-unit NCT 127's second album Neo Zone, 37.5MHz Haechan Radio debuted on March 2, 2020. This viewable radio show is hosted by NCT 127 and NCT Dream member Haechan, with a format similar to other radio shows as he interviews members about the current album they are promoting, plays songs and games and asks questions about their lives.


    The shows were originally broadcast live on NCT's NCT Daily YouTube channel and are now broadcast on the main NCT channel.


    New episodes are usually created to support comebacks for Haechan's main groups, NCT 127 and NCT Dream, but have not been made for NCT full-unit promotions or NCT U songs.


    The lead-in song "Welcome to My Playground" is from NCT 127's Regulate album, while the title of the show is a long-running joke. Haechan interviews members playfully by introducing a fake show "Haechan Cam with 37.5% viewer ratings."
