It's Awkward, But It's OK

- Episode 1: Doyoung participated with several of the other members of Dream for several years of trainee and pre-debut activities, including SM Rookies and the first season of NCT Life, NCT Life in Bangkok. However, Renjun and Chenle did not participate in Rookies or NCT Life and were added last to NCT Dream, then debuted quickly.

- Although he may seem much older, Doyoung is only four years older than Renjun.

- Episode 2: Taeil is the oldest member of NCT. However, the two have been working together since they were trainees, including the pre-debut group SM Rookies. This was three years before their debut into their respective groups: Taeil was 19, while Jeno was 13.

- Taeil is 6 years older than Jeno.

- Episode 3: Jungwoo joined NCT in 2018, which is two years after NCT Dream debuted. Additionally, Chenle was not a trainee very long before debuting so the two did not spend very much time training together.

- Jungwoo is only 3 years older than Chenle, which is one of the smallest gaps in the series.

- Episode 4: Jisung is the youngest member of NCT, but Jaehyun has been working with him since they were trainees, just like Taeil and Jeno. Jisung was just 11 and Jaehyun was 16.

- Jaehyun is 5 years older than Jisung.

- Episode 5: Johnny and Jaemin also have been working together since they were trainees, in the same group as Taeil, Jeno, Jaehyun and Jisung. Johnny was 18 and one of the oldest trainees, while Jaemin was 13.

- Johnny is 6 years older than Jaemin.

- Episode 6: Winwin is 5 years older than Jisung, however, like many of the others, he worked with him pre-debut, although for a shorter time. Although he signed in 2014, he was not added to the SM Rookies lineup until 2016, not long before the debut of NCT Dream and NCT 127.

- Yuta and Xiaojun:

- This pair did not train together - Xiaojun was signed to SM after Yuta had already debuted in NCT 127.

- The shows reference a moment during NCT 2020 Resonance that was popular in fan memes and videos where Yuta is talking to a seemingly nervous Xiaojun in the hallway.

- While Johnny and Jaemin were not actually the last pair on the show, they did appear in the previous season in a popular episode.

- The cat ears that detect emotion were a popular feature in NCT content in 2021, also appearing often in NCT 127 social content.

- Xiaojun's love of mint chocolate ice cream is a long-running joke in social content. It even had its own taste test episode on Jungwoo's show

- "On E.A.R.T.H., we call it sexy Xiaojun" is a play on a line from NCT 127's song "Sticker."

- Xiaojun is 4 years younger than Yuta - he is the same age as the oldest NCT Dream member Mark.

- Xiaojun's dislike of aegyo, like several of the WayV members, is a long-running joke, even amongst the members. He often reacts in amused horror to people doing it, including Yuta in this episode.

- Kun and Sungchan: Kun is 5 years older than Sungchan.

- Due to the delay in launching the NCT China group, which would become WayV, Kun remained a trainee for a few years after his peers debuted in NCT 127 and NCT Dream. During this time, he trained with Jungwoo, Sungchan and his future group mates in WayV.
