I. Introduction
T is the third Japanese studio album for South Korean boy group TVXQ, known in Japan as Tohoshinki. The album was released on January 22, 2008.
II. Background & Release
The album was released in 3 versions: a CD, CD +DVD version with music videos and 2 CD + 2 DVD version with music videos. The 2 CD + 2 DVD version included five special tracks. The album had five pre-release singles: "Lovin' You" on June 13, 2007, "Summer (Summer Dream/Song For You/Love in the Ice)" on August 1, 2007, "Shine/Ride On" on September 19, 2007, "Forever Love" on November 14, 2007, "Together" on December 19, 2007 and "Purple Line" on January 16, 2008.

The album debuted at #4 on the weekly Japanese Oricon Album Charts, reached #2 on the daily charts and #30 on the monthly charts. The album also charted at #1 on the Korean foreign albums and singles chart. The albums lead single "Purple Line" had debuted and reached #1 in Oricon weekly sales before the album's release. All six singles reached the top 4: "Lovin' You", "Summer: Summer Dream/Song for You/Love in the Ice" and "Shine/Ride On" all reached #2, while "Together" and "Forever Love" reached #3 and #4 respectively. The album also received a gold certification by the Recording Industry Association of Japan in May 2008.
