I. Introduction
The Secret Code is the fourth Japanese full album for South Korean boy group TVXQ, known in Japan as Tohoshinki. It was released on March 25, 2009.
II. Background & Release
This is the group's last Japanese album to feature all five members. The album was released in 3 versions: a CD only version with bonus tracks, a CD + DVD version and a 2 CD version. The album included 5 singles, with 4 released prior to the album: "Beautiful You/Sennen Koi Uta," released on April 23, 2008, "Dōshite Kimi o Suki ni Natte Shimattandarō?" on July 16, 2008, "Jumon: Mirotic" on October 15, 2008, "Bolero/Kiss the Baby Sky/Wasurenaide" on January 21, 2009 and "Survivor" on March 17, 2009.

The album debuted at #2 on the Japanese Oricon Album Charts and #1 in Taiwan. The album was certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan. 4 of the 5 released singles reached #1 on the Oricon Singles Charts, except "Survivor," which reached #3.
