The girl in the middle. In the drama they define her as “ugly” because of her pimple and red face, then she finally knows how to use make up and hides her true face. In the end of the drama, she finally accepted her true face.

So I finally got around to watching True Beauty. I was pretty excited for the show and there was a ton of hype around it. I like how cute this kdrama is.
There were some parts I didn't like where I felt the writing was bad, the mom character (frankly, I consider her abusive), and I don’t like how they define “red” & “pimple” face as ugly. Those aren’t ugliness at all. I find it very annoying.
So overall, I consider the show fairly cliche, but executed in a way that is good, funny, and full of charm, so I don't mind.

Bullying has severe cases everywhere and barely a few of it makes it to news
I am sure its not great in Korea and thats why people have huge negative reactions to bullying rumors
