I don't know how Korean laws work, but can someone go to jail for things they did as a minor?
Good point. Taking him to court and suing for psychological damages, maybe? If it's within statue of limitations.

DSP is either digging their own hole or what are they even doing
I hope she and her family get the best law firm in town and take them down.

Well, I think this is for the best. Business wise, JYP can keep SK appearing on shows or concerts (KCON in March) without much scandal if Hyunjin isn’t there. Hopefully there won’t be much backlash.
And hopefully Huunjin does reflect on his actions, make any apologies as needed. But time away from the spotlight would also keep him from being continuously hounded by Knetz. It’s best for his mental health. Only time will tell what happens when he does me a return.

I'm confused. I wish jype had been more clear on what was true and what wasn't, bc it seems like he admitted and apologized, but people on twitter seem to think this means that he didn't do anything?
I think it's pretty clear based on the translation (maybe in Korean the nuances are different) that something did happen. But what that was and whether it was as severe as originally posted is not stated. It could have been that serious, or it could have been exaggerated.

At worst, the accusations were true and Hyunjin did bully the victim.
At best, the apology is for general words that may have offended the victim or others in his middle school days.
It seems that JYP is reporting that since multiple stances are being said, there is no way to come to one truth, but an apology is being given because there were people who were hurt.

And Hyunjin's handwritten response as well.
