Acts like IU and G-Dragon do not cause much chatter on social media, compared to other groups
They don't need to be 'talked up'.
But their impact is evident on the charts, like debuting directly to #1 on Melon etc., implies Koreans across demographics and fandoms, will tune in to listen to them.
It is the 'silent majority' effect.
IU is in a league of her own I will agree with that
