Basically, HYBE owns TAG PR, they run social media smear campaigns—-they focus on Reddit. TAG has already involved themselves in this drama. Remember Jeff Benjamin from Billboard? No? Here’s a refresher for you then:

they probably just have the one demands about mhj and full protection for her etc… proof she’s on their side and had their interests in heart as compared to the rest of hybe goes a long way too

But remember Newjeans aren't considered employees, and thats coming from the new Ador CEO, she said it during that gov inquest meeting. They are contractors, so if they can show Ador has been limiting their ability to work, dismissing opportunities etc since they got rid of MHJ, they can prove it easily. Especially if you include the plagiarism as a way to obstruct future earnings and the arguments and oncoming lawsuit from those who have long worked with newjeans because of the new Ador CEO.
Would also add thanks to that new law a couple years before they debuted, if all the members leave, they get the rights to their name and all their IP including music. Yeah they'd likely have to buy it, but considering the situation I think they'd go to court to get a judge to name a fair price.
i feel like i’m going crazy because i remember hearing about this law forever ago but no one brings it up! NJ could get out scott free with all their music if they have a good enough lawyer.
i think the online sexual harassment without any action from hybe might also help them (deepfakes)

It was never a sexual assault case. It was an alleged sexual harassment case by Ador's executive that HR cleared. The recommended punishment was a stern warning, and the reinvestigation will probably bring up nothing since it was a he said/she said situation.
MHJ might lose in the defamation suit if the employee can prove that people in the industry are able to identify her through the information released by MHJ. In MHJ's defense, she never released the identity of the employee and the public doesn't know who she is either.
She is alleging that the industry is small enough and her employee history is known, so people can piece together her identity. Thus the released info counts as defamation despite MHJ not releasing the employee's identity.
