The staff and the owner really thought they were slick. The staff definitely deserves a disciplinary action over this and the bakery owner lol her business closed before it can start.

Kinda surprised how bad their stuff seems? The vile friend politics aside, is it that hard to make a basic ass sandwich/cake?

Lol it really turned out that the staff and the bakery owner were lying about not knowing each other… karmys are detectives

    Dirty leeches.

Hope hybe takes action against the staff involved & take better care when they hire people next time..

I guess we will never know, but I'm nosy af I want my answers:pepe-toilet:

lol, you are certainly not alone.

They have been giving their all for 10+ years & build hybe to a multibillion company. If the boys get a fair cut out of everything they do (music production, merch, ads, concerts,..), they are all doing very very well & thats not even taking into account private investments.

... a little sneak at the numbers would be interesting

(but you know, privacy is priority)

yeah i though so too, but when i surched through the pages i couldnt found any thread attacking them while i saw 3 threads like this claiming they getting attacked by some people i cant see.

Because most of the time they won't openly attack bts, they will hide their insults/downplaying in passive aggressiveness & fake concern. Some people here think they are very clever, but it's clear what they really think/want to say.

not saying all armys are angels, but it gets tiring seeing (the same) users dragging the boys & suddenly act all innocent when they get called out.

i dont think too much credit goes to the members since they are the key to the succes. Many have tried to create a similar concept with a very similar strategy & yet everyone that has, has failed (even bang himself). So the only different factor seems to me the members themselves.

Anyway, that was indeed not your point, sorry for derailing :)) i agree, claiming a fandom is the base of a group's succes isn't the drag some people think.. expecially when that fandom seems to grow exponentially each year. From where do they think all these new fans come from?

When your fandom is the size of bts', the line between fandom & gp becomes pretty much blurred.

I think you are giving a bit too much credit to the early branding strategy of bts. Their different ways of interacting with fans & thus creating closer connections with their fans was because of their lack of "official ways" to establish themselves rather than some master strategy. I dont know if they would have come up with yt/blogs/lives/.. if they could go the traditional way of promoting.

Anyway, i understand what you were trying to say, but i also think your group just has to have that click with people to dominate like bts does. I dont think that's so easy to recreate with just strategy (or other companies/hybe would have done that succesfully already).

damn, so many pages.. just agree to disagree? neither side is gonna be convinced anyway.

PTD isn't my fav bts release, but the song is doing very well & is still very stable. Don't really know about calling taeyeong a smaller artist when she is one of the biggest (female) soloist.

Anyway, biggest surprise this year is without a doubt Brave Girls with their monster hit Rollin. Came out of nowhere & dominated for such a long time.

This part in Jungkook’s message to the fans was so pretty – Knetizen

i was thinking of making a thread of this article, but lemme share it here (first)

it's older, but this was one of the first articles i read about jungkookie & i was so so soft for him

"I will always remain in this place. When ARMYs want to see me, they can come anytime. When they have to leave, or when they want to leave, leaving at that time is fine too. But just remember this, that I will always stay in this place."

AND THE KNETZ COMMENTS ARE TOO MUCH

[+389, -8] Baby-ya, I’m not leaving and I’m not gonna leave. Where can I go leaving a pretty kid behind? ㅠㅠㅜㅠㅠㅠㅠ

[+297, -8] Because I’ve been struggling a lot since last year with my life, I said goodbye to BTS… thank you.. Jungkook-ah… I’ll come back soon

jungkook's burger accident (just seeing thumbnails about it makes me angry/upset)

    the false "no signal" plagiarism;

bts has had a lot of false accusations thrown at them, but the fact that family members & staff of the other group involved themselves made me pissed off

    jimin's t-shirt incident;

this one blew up, japanse parties targeted him & even deranged japanese nazi's were making death threats

(this one also gave me an insight in how organised & dedicated armys were; they made a whole 160+ pages long paper in different languages to explain the actual root of the incident)

There are so many factors to take into account imo; each case is different, so i don't think you can just agree or disagree with your question.

The only things i can say for every case is that it's kind of insane how fast an accusation turns into a witch hunt without any extra info & if you have a past as a bully (when you were >15y give or take), why pursue a carreer as an idol??

not saying idols can't make mistakes or that you can be an ex-bully when you are an actor/office worker/... , but idols are known for their very clean image.

"Dark side of K-pop" is often used by people who have absolutely no interest in K-pop or the artists, but use fake concern to downplay K-pop. They're the type to claim K-pop idols are all controlled by their companies and don't have any creative input while ironically using photos of Soyeon, G-Dragon, and BTS, all of whom have a huge role in their music.

In other words, sometimes people have no idea what they're talking about and just use generic, outdated stereotypes about the industry when talking about "the dark side of K-pop." It comes from a place of hate and envy as opposed to genuine concern.

PewDiePie comes off as a guy who genuinely cares about Blackpink, so good on him.

While i'm not saying the western entertainment industry is any better, kpop has a dark side & it would be good for someone to be open about it . This would force some companies to change (hopefully) & some stereotypes would be corrected.

anyway, this was a blackpink documentary so the only hardships they should show are blackpinks.
