Honestly it’s because Koreans & Kpop fans are nationalistic. If Yaning, Ziyin, Shana, Reina, and the likes were in K-Group they’d be much more popular

Meanwhile if Bahiyyih & Hyewon were in C/J-Group, they wouldn’t get the time of day. I’d say Jiwon too, but she’s an idol so that’s a bonus on her end too

Even Myah’s popularity would’ve been replaced by day the twins if they were swapped

K-Group are no more or less talented/pretty as C-Group or J-Group, just have the benefit of being the homelanders

Cuz tbh, it does get boring when it’s big 3 (& I guess HYBE now) & everyone else

And it’s nice to see underdogs(?) starting from the bottom & rising to being amongst the high ground (I put the question mark on Underdogs for Weeekly cuz Fave & Plan A had successful acts, but due to the merger being PlayM, people see them as the start)

They give a nostalgic feel to how old school Kpop girl groups were like, while also having the feel of a modern girl group too

But yeah, I hope these two rise even more now then they did b4. They deserve it

I said this in another thread, but before the K-Group fans act bewildered over the possibility of a C-Group+J-Group majority in the top 9, the current voting system makes it impossible for the rankings NOT to represent an equal or close to equal nationality ranking

Cuz you leave it to the Kfans, and they’ll forget the the point of the show is to make an international GG lmbo

While this doesn’t mean that the final lineup will automatically be 3x3x3, this will make sure that there won’t be a huge imbalance towards the end, like 6 Koreans + 3 Non Koreans or such

For K-Line, it’s likely 4-5 for the final lineup. I doubt there would be (much) more non-Koreans than Koreans. But this group is gonna promote globally, even in China, and there is still the Korean ban when promoting there, so there gonna need at least 4-5 non-Koreans

As of now they’re competing in trios. A Korean girl, A Chinese girl, and a Japanese girl per trio. Their collective progress will determine whether all 3 make it, or all 3 get eliminated

Both are visuals, very talented, and stand out a lot when put on stage with others

They’re also pretty popular amongst Knetz and beyond. I can’t see them even ranking below #2 of their respective nationalities, let alone not making final top 9 at all

I fear Knetz gonna mass vote K-Girls after this lmfao

Than again they only get 50% of the vote, so if they end up on a xenophobia rampage, we still good lol
