I think they should probably try to go for a cyberpunk vibe, to embrace that yea- they ain't lookin real- but then again it seemed like Pulse9 was going for a stereotypical kpop idol group rather than a *lets embrace the wonk* idea
personally a cyberpunk vibe can give them lots of leeway when it comes to the uncanny valley; if they embrace the fact that the faces don't really pass for human then it could help the situation.
I agree its focking creepy but I like the intent behind it and repackaging and refining this concept could easily help in getting it accepted better.
