People say that Jennie is YG's fav and I'm not sure about that. She did get the first solo promo so that may be why she got early hype. Jennie hasn't done much since then on her own.

I like Jennie but I'll put that aside and tell the facts

She in a mediocre singer, a mediocre rapper and a mediocre dancer. She has a pretty face and since shes not BAD at any of those things, she got to debut. She's got average talent. She would be average if she didn't have that face.

She also has a B face and that makes people see her as the bad girl of the group and usually the bad girls are the most popular.

Like I said before, she had the first solo music and so all eyes were on her then and now they are still looking out for her

She also got hype when it was announced she was 'dating Kai of Exo' and ' dating GD'. Even if the attention was negative, it was still eyes on her
