IWALY is an absolutely monster of a song that no one should ever attempt because you will sound stupid.
Is there a Kpop idol capable of covering the song without embarrassing themselves? I don’t think some of the popular vocalists of gen 3 like Wendy or Yuju have a voice powerful enough. I think Rosé could definitely do it if she tried.

I would say it kinda make sense tho.
Twice actually did well in both Physical and Digital compare to BP before The Album come out. BP was only popular at the time.
However, this year. Blackpink outsold Twice with both Physical and Digital.
So yeah, Blackpink is definitely higher than Twice now.
It doesn’t make sense. BP was above Twice in EVERY single metric except physicals

I know a lot of people drag Blackpink for being models but now that you think about it, their visuals are one of the reasons why they are so successful and popular.
You see Irene stans defend Irene to death, making excuses for her behavior all because she is pretty. I think the same thing applies to Blackpink, except unlike red velvet who only has 1 pretty member, Blackpink has 4 pretty members. When you have a group so beautiful, you cannot help but stan them.

The cute concept is practically dead right now because of the girl crush concept that was popularized by BLACKPINK.
But what Kpop companies don’t understand is that the reason why BP were able to become so popular was because of the over saturated cute concept every other girl group was doing. BP was different and that immediately drew everyone to them. And now girl crush is becoming over saturated. If I were jyp or sm I would debut a girl group with a cute concept immediately and all it would take is one huge hit and they will become the next nations girl group.
