Honestly, you might not believe me, but I do care. I feel sorry for all the things that they have been put through and knowing that my fellow Muslims are partially to blame for them agonists me a lot.
They DO deserve somewhere to live, and I completely understand their desire to live in their Holy Land, I do.
HOWEVER, you use absolutely inhumane arguments. „They have somewhere else to go“.
They shouldn’t have to leave the country in which they lived for millennia, just how Hews shouldn’t have been forced to go during the Diaspora. You can never know whether someone has the means to go, and even if they did, that’s no excuse to kick people out of their houses and occupy their lands.
It’s not an excuse to do ethnic cleansing.
Yes, Jews suffered. A lot. That is NOT an excuse to subject other to such cruel treatments tho.
It’s not an excuse to call yourself the only democracy in the Middle East whilst simultaneously enforcing an apartheid system.
One‘s past suffering is not an excuse to be cruel yourself.
This not only applies to Jews, but everyone else.
Saying it’s anti-Semitic to criticise Jews is wrong, because it’s not about the Zionists being Jews. We would have criticised them the same way if they were atheists, Buddhists, Christians or whatever else.
It of course should not become an excuse to be anti-Semitic, but gaslighting Pro-Palestinians by calling them anti-Semitic is absolutely wrong.
