They said the OP made a typo, it's actually 104M. The stats are apparently from YouTube's own charts and insights. Gidle is still successful nonetheless. 1mill albums, #1 on the charts and doing good on Spotify.

LSF bside's movement from out of the top100 to now in 2weeks time entering top 10 is definitely something. Shows what full out promo can do for a song (that people like). Makes you wonder how it would have done if it got the pre-release treatment. But even now it might get 200k and depending on how its momentum will be next week compared to the other top 10 songs it might even challenge for top 5. Wouldn't rule out it overtaking Unforgiven in the coming weeks.

They weren't profitable, plus being 3rd gen but making no waves like twice & BP. They would have never brought in the amount of money LSFM is about to bring once they start touring. All them hits yet they're still forgettable. Aint no one talking about them in Korea.

HYBE is putting a lot into LSFM because the gains will outweigh the loss. Gfriend wasn't global, LSFM is.

They're fans are delusional if they thought otherwise.

Unforgiven will be a banger for when they start touring.

However, I prefer EVE for every day listening.

They have 4 songs in the melon top 100/Daily

sold 1.5m albums. Their fandom isn't as big Idle, Aespa, & Ive in Korea/china but literally anywhere else they slay. People underrate them simply because they're comparing their Korean achievements.

Out of the 3rd gen GGs only Twice and BlackPink were able to gain attention and keep a stable fan base within Asia and the West.

Red velvet only really popped off in Korea. This is why global success matters for longevity. Groups that only play safe within Korea like Redvelvet, gfriend, mamamoo, etc get left behind.

Isn’t their tour also suffering? Yeah they sold 1 million albums but no one would ever consider them on the same playing field as Twice & BP.
