Well not much of a surprise reaction.

Isn't revenues up lately? I don't call that a decline. The industry had hiccups trying to adapt to new technologies and IP issues years ago, but as a whole it should be in upward trajectory, but this is true almost everywhere.
Not liking the latest releases =/= whole industry

I think both are airheaded mistakes and I treat them as such. Both are the same level for me and necessitate an apology because these are touchy important issues. Hopefully we just come out of this more enlightened. However, as a Korean perspective, the red sun is a much much bigger no-no. There is no comparison. Of course, I'm living in the West and that nazi pic wouldn't fly lightly on the other hand.
I don't think just the offenders should apologize, but also the companies as well. Probably more so. Usually their use of social media are heavily monitored, so it was a brain fart for the whole company. In Sowon's case, the use of the place for whatever they were doing was a dumb idea. Kpop companies avoid all sorta topics like politics, religions (although they use their aesthetics way too much), and so like a plague. You would think WW2 would be off their limits of choices.

Even as Korean, I like gyoza and Chinese dumplings better (I do like Korean mandu as well). My favorite would be baozi.

Koreans would not really care that much actually. Maybe haters use this as a fuel, but at large South Koreans don't care much about this as much. History education is of course very Korean-centric and some places with a nationalist slant.
SK may know abut Nazism a tad better than Japan for instance, but the extend of it is basically swastika is bad and use of Holocaust analogies in a hypocritical manner in some discourses and that's it. That's about it really. Well history education at least my generation was like this.
If it depended on Koreans fans to get some response from Soumu, I'd say they wouldn't need to do much. The whole use of place as a set was a bad idea in the first place.

Usually Western history part of WW2 is kinda overlooked in East Asia in general. In SK they hammer the Pacific side of the conflict of course. However, as little attention the European side of WW2, SK does look at history of Nazism and holocaust more than Japanese at least. Still Hitler jokes are far more common and and some symbols are lost on them. They may know the swastika controversy to avoid it even thou it is also a Buddhist symbol there, but other Nazi symbols may be ignored. Even the Nazi fashion items may be admired in some ways as it looks cool on purpose.
That being said, that was a dumb act and the staff dropped the ball in not catching it. Well, it shouldn't be used as a set in the first place. I think Soumu should issue a formal apology.

Actually pretty spot on choices!

I paid $40 bucks for Blizzcon (which was kinda a waste of time as it was basically a paywall to unlock exclusive merchandise purchase). They increased it to $50 the next year. So I guess this is my limit.

That's how these fuckers play with the world economy:

We have provided more information on this in our privacy policy. It's a rigged game. Why this fucker is confessing about illegal things? Because he is bragging and gloating and know they will just buy the government to bail them out with taxpayer money. This is pre-2008 fuckery. They didn't change a bit.

It's hard to really know. There are some signs like if they hang out with themselves and other people (celebrities or not) during their free time, it's usually a good sign of closeness. Some of them don't have much free time, so if they make the effort to do so, it probably means something. Even if you wanna go full cynical, not many can have this level of acting to keep up a mask all the time. They need to loose up during freetime.
On the other hand, if during camera and regular shows they don't put any effort to show some form of closeness and even display some discomfort, even if that person is cold and timid, if there is some level of closeness, it should show a bit even if it's super subtle.
In reality most groups probably have just a professional level of closeness which is fine. This is amicable enough. It's part of the idol group package to think they are close friends or like a family, but I'm fine if they are just acting for the camera. However, idols aren't professional actors, if there is consistent discomfort and lack of interaction outside their schedule, it usually shows.
I follow groups that release lot of extra content or show up in varieties a lot. I liked Apink, Sistar, and Girl's Day because of their chemistry together. Of these examples, 100% Apink is close together. They even interact with Yookyung and they are at the point of their career that they don't need to prove anything more. AOA was a little off during camera, so I never got into their extra content specially after Choa left. The bullying scandal just confirmed my misgivings.

I missed my chance to buy it when Melvin got the bailout money from their sugardaddies. I thought they would just accept the losses and move on, but no, they just went full greedy retards. I just got one share at high, but I don't care. Not selling it.
At the end of this shit show, I hope there are some real consequences to these people who play with the market and bet with the livelihood of real people behind the companies they short. They fucked the world economy during 2008 and got bailout money as a "punishment". During the coronavirus relief package, they got a big fat cut as well while companies in need got scraps or nothing.
The establishment politicians were calling for unity bullshit, but now the country is united. If no one at the ivory tower go to jail with this level of unity behind it, it just means USA governmental system is beyond salvaging.

I'm more into the groups than music save some. Kpop music is kinda hit or miss.
