I would bet money that Bp won't release anything until at least next spring. Maybe an April cb like KTL.
Treasure said they'll cb before the end of the year. Lisa will feature on that collab. Snowdrop is probably coming out in December. There's no way we're anywhere near a group cb. And it's so stupid bc BP aren't some veteran boy group with members in the military...there's no reason to be prioritizing solos over group comebacks

The beat sounds really good. Seems like it will be a lighter song compared to NL if that's really the chorus part. It's giving me more Black Mamba vibes

since the original OP was talking about BP that's why i only use BP as reference. Yeah so basically without other seniors who tried to breakthrough international, who else would then? then again back to my original post "Part of BP success was also because other tried to break through before them. "Just because 2nd gen tried to break in the us doesn’t mean they were relevant" Being relevant or not, it does not matter since they were the FIRST, getting attention and recognising is what matter
1st and 2nd gen deserve all the credit for spreading kpop and idol culture in Asia but they have literally nothing to do with bts and BP's popularity in the west. If it really were 2nd gen paving the way in the west, then don't you think other third gen groups would be charting rather than just two? And 2nd gen technically ended in 2011/2012. BP and BTS didn't start charting in the west until 2017. It really took 6 years for this so called 2nd gen impact to kick in, and when it did, it only kicked in for two groups and no one else? That doesn't make much sense.

Square Up will be #6 by the end of this year at least. I expect it to go double platinum like KTL eventually

Lol Jensoo's Paris "date" made you roll your eyes because you're a delusional Jenlisa shipper. I've seen you in threads in the old forum trying to claim Jensoo's friendship is pure fan service as part of your weird conspiracy theory that YG plots to keep Jennie and Lisa apart. It's obvious that everyone in BP sees each other as sisters only, and Jensoo are genuinely amongst the closest pairs in the group

Cute how there are so many blinks on the squid game cast lol

People think Lisa isn't actually going since she allegedly has a fansign scheduled for the same time as their flight and Celine is not on the lineup
Mess if she doesn't go yet they put her in the article

Did I say otherwise? I don’t see where you are getting at. The gap is huge too but I didn’t even make bts comparison why do you guys have to bring them in just becos they are in my username
The stats prove 25% of the yt streams came from Thailand that the biggest share so my list is scientific.
Clown.
This is like the third time I've seen armys make the stupid ass claim that BP only pulls the streaming numbers they do because LIsa is Thai. Thailand is not even their biggest country by Spotify monthly listeners - it's actually not even in the top 10, by the way. On Youtube, just 7% of their streams in the last year are from Thailand. They are massively popular in SEA, no denying that, but a lot of it is due to their music style not just because Lisa is Thai. They only blew up there after D4. I'm sure Lisa being SEA is part of how big they are there, but why do you guys act like Lisa's ethnicity is the only reason they are successful? I don't see other groups with Thai members pulling the streaming numbers they do. Also why is having a big SEA fandom always used as an insult like...

I think that people have overhyped Lisa's international popularity to the extent where it does seem like she's underperforming. I say this as an OT4 blink who supports them all...but hasn't loved either of the solos this year. Lisa not performing spectacularly on Korean charts is no surprise considering how SK treats SEA idols, but her Spotify numbers being worse than Rosé's is interesting considering how she's supposed to be so much more popular internationally. At this point, not even sure if she can chart on US Hot 100 at all...which BP has done with every title track since 2017. After Lisa's solo, I think that the gap between BP members is not as big as people make it out to be and while Lisa is definitely the most popular female idol globally her members are not too far behind, particularly in the west.
At the same time, I do get that Lisa is facing more competition with Drake and Kanye both dropping recently and points being up across the board. Honestly, BP has disappointed me twice this year with their solo releases which is why I might seem like I'm being pessimistic or overly negative. I just want the solos era to be over so we can have a group cb
