I've only started stanning BTS, so don't know their full achievements but am so glad Butter has done so well. It has now overtaken DNA as my favourite BTS song now. I think the guys are amazing and am blown away by the impact they are having on the world stage from fans to other celebrities. I'm proud to be an Army now.
That's nice to hear! And I would say, enjoy the ride, because there are so many amazing BTS songs to discover! Paradise (also known as The Greatest Song BTS ever made) for example

I was just checking the list of 2020 songs with the highest accumulated unique listeners on Melon, and wow, Dynamite really said y'all can't touch me.
. IIRC Dynamite ended last year at #5 or #6. Every song should be jealous of its stability. Definitely will be hard for any song to top Dyna's charting this decade

Sounds like a successor for SMA and a lil bit of “image cleansing” since award shows dont really have good reps
Or they just see it as a nice opportunity to earn some extra money. Does raise the interesting question how much money there's to be earned from an award show (tickets, streaming, fanvoting can bring in some decent money for the companies that host these award shows)
