this whole Bigbang vs BlackPink discourse is unnecessary.
Bigbang helped shape kpop in its early years and gave it an important direction.
Many groups that debuted after them especially in 3rd gen were clearly inspired by them.
That's a legacy that can not be denied.
Meanwhile Blackpink shattered records after records and are pretty well known globally. They are the first globally popular girl group of Asian descent and that's something.
So both groups are fantastic in different ways and are Top Groups of their respective generations.
Why fight over it??
