Cause he's related to yg?
Or did he do something already?
Yes about him being related. He resigned when his brother did, but according to a tweet I saw when double-checking his name to confirm who he was, he never really left the company. He was an "internal director" whatever that means. It may explain why nothing really changed with Blackpink activities before and after "The Album" release. If YG still has a direct say in the company it probably through this guy.
Ultimately, this guy resigned because of his brother's scandal (which I know is guilt by association, and maybe not fair to him), but he will always be associated with YHG and when YHG's conviction finally comes in it won't look good for the company to have a family member running it.
It may not necessarily be fair, but I thought the family would stay well clear of managment until well after YG's trial was done.
....unless they have insider information on the outcome.....
