Yeah, but for BlackPink they were on the billing. I think they were somewhat known to the crowd in the US in 2019 and their audience was just a flat.
Feel like I'm used to seeing Kpop concert crowds rather this bunch. They just lacked any energy and didn't really seem to care about either performance.
For BP u should watch d4 coachella performance , crowd was more hyped.

I find it funny because blinks are literally fighting over a technicality on twitter and Stan verse right now about BP being the first “kpop group” as opposed to Epik High who were the actual first Korean group.
Like it’s so hilarious how everyone is so pressed about cochella a useless music festival that literally most Americans do not give a shit about and is not the least bit prestigious if you were to ask me.
No one cares if you were first. Or second. Kpop fans stop being mad embarrassing and just enjoy your favs performance challenge.
Even here people never claim BP were first kpop act since many K act already performed there... Blinks only had problem with Aespa official account tweet about being first girlgroup invited on mainstage. SM are the one whos taking these coachella things seriously hence mediaplaying heck out of it.

Lol even knetizen know about Mediaplay. Coachella has 7 stage so every company has chance to mediplay or may be next group that gonna perform on mainstage could media play like being the first group to perform 10songs.

There's no denying the Blackpink influence imo, especially when their official account was tweeting links to articles calling them the 2nd BP.
I don't think there's anything wrong with it, or anything for fans of either group to get mad about. Companies get inspired and try to follow the most popular groups! So shocking!
Atleast the articles were not saying that aespa is popular for their music while BP made it only through social media
