And it all comes down to their lack of a proper musical discography. They have name in the fashion industry and that's a very fast industry. It's very hard to cement a legacy there. Musically they are non existent. They are the biggest girl group at the moment but once you get past that to try to look into them what do you get?

Honestly? I don't think so. I think the interest in kpop is rather decreasing.

I am trying to be more optimistic because being in a constant mental state of negativity did me a lot of harm personally. I had started to move towards nihilism at one point and slowly I realized that was a very destructive mindset to have. I will say I am excited about the future. While there are lots of negatives this is perhaps the better time to be alive in the human history. Changes are very scary but that's a part of life.

I'd say athletic more than strong. I don't like too much muscles... honestly that turns me off.

Taylor Swift suffers under the patriarchy — and also benefits from it. Here’s why.Anyone who knows me will tell you: I am the biggest Swiftie there is. But Taylor Swift, pop icon and lyrical genius though she may be, is still human and has…lahstalon.org

I think what pisses most people off is her ignorance about race. She is quick to talk about how she is a woman and gets hated on (and that's true) it's not the only oppression and if you are white in america you are in a position of privilege regardless of gender.

I have always hated her. Never liked her music, overhyped trash, selling escapist fantasy to little white girls who want to bask in their privilege. The flagbearer of white feminism with zero concept of intersectionality and a rabid fanbase of racists online. She is the only artist I can say I literally ANTI. Like an actual antifan. So many of my friends are her fans and yet I just go away whenever she plays. Everything about her is a symbol of white feminism nonsense and I hate it.
Sorry for this hateful rant lol. I think I dislike her solely because she is white ngl. Well it is what it is.

You can form your own opinion on it independent of China
Would you comply if your country decided to implement similar measures?
The credit score is already there to limit people financially, now that score and limit is extended to every part of your life.
My country already partakes in restriction of human rights in certain parts of it. I am in a position of privilege here.

Trolls are unfulfilled losers who are looking for attention on obscure platforms.

Western media sensationalizes news about China a lot with orientalist undertones. China has a lot to be criticized for but I don't take western criticisms of the country seriously.

exactly
i dont know who gave kpop stans the genius idea to trend hashtags as if that is a solution to any problem
It comes from k-fans actually. They used to trend hate hashtags against idols and then the fans of those idols would try to take those hashtags down or bury it with a positive one. Now they do too much.

Do they have the time for making their own name in non k-pop fields now when the enlistment is right in the corner?(only jk has) Do you think the company will be generous enough to give them multiple chances to get hits when there are like seven of them? I personally don't think so. That's why only people who are catering to kpop market with pop songs will do well. Initially though. Not talking about long term here.
Enlistment is temporary though. Fans with kpop mindset would have left by then (kpop fans tend to not be loyal). Fans who come from non kpop background will stay. Also the members who will not aim for kpop audiences will probably not cater to charts or make hits. Hoseok's album is being very well received by critics (even critics who were dismissive of them) and he himself said he chose not to care for charts in the W Korea interview. From what I am getting is kpop fans or pop fans cannot really move past charts as a parameter for success so the entire point about doing well is centered around that. The fandom will struggle trying to understand how to get out of pop mindset for some members.
Around 2026 the army fandom will look different imo and the perception around BTS will change.
Edit:- Tbh imo BTS especially some members have moved past focusing on the commercial viability of a project but the fandom is still stuck on organizing around that.

wondering if this would also goes into dumpster of fires
Hopefully not. This is a genuine observation.
