so while looking into their history I just realized something:
Kim Yongho has a long history with seungri and YG ent - I didn't realize before now that he is the same journalist that seungri sued and won a defamation suit against in 2016.

It was confirmed on the 11th that the Korean Bar Association issued a 10 million won fine for violating the duty to maintain dignity to lawyer Kang Yong-seok last month.
In April 2019, lawyer Kang exposed the private life of Mr. A, a famous internet clothing shopping mall operator, on the YouTube channel Garo Sero Institute. The Bar Association judged this as 'reckless remarks that were not confirmed to be true in other people's private lives' and found that the lawyer violated the lawyer's duty to maintain dignity.
Previously, lawyer Kang was also found guilty in a criminal trial in 2015 and was given a disciplinary action of 10 million won in fines from the Bar Association.

she denied the charge - her 2nd hearing is supposed to be on 23rd of next month.
wtf, Yoo In seok is the central figure in almost every charge against seungri (it seems most of the charges seungri is accused of is actually yoo inseok's doing), every witness said they got orders from Yoo In seok but the court just moves on without his attendance and accepts his written testimony (without any chance for cross-questioning by prosecution and defense) - meanwhile the court went as far as to suggest a forcible attendance of jung joonyoung - who was just a passing witness to an additional charge (inciting assault).
(I suppose the only hope is that seungri's lawyer agreed to this, he must know better)

his trial is still ongoing for all charges - according to news the courts hopes to wrap it up by june.
there is barely any news coverage of hearings these days - maybe they didn't like what they kept hearing in court.
