So you want to keep a thread active based on pure hypothesis? Even though noone here is buying any of it to begin with? I know you desperately don't want it to be true, but as it stands, we do have a final verdict:
GUILTY
Why don't you take all of these biased fan tweets and hypothesis to the Bigbang guild or something?
the vast majority of this thread is actually news. also exercising the right to appeal is not a hypothesis - it's due process and the next logical step legally (and which would make this NOT the final verdict as yet).
whydon'tyou have some self respect yourself (and the courage to address people directly) and some self-control while you're at it - instead of trying control others and tell them what to do control your own self.
don't like seeing this - then don't click on this thread and keep you entitled ass out of here. simple.

Isn't it time to close this thread? No amount of fan propaganda or self-delusions will change the public's opinion (or the court's). We've seen the DMs, we've seen his involvement in it all, and now we've seen the verdict.
Fans kept asking people to wait with their judgment till the final verdict, and now where that verdict says he's guilty on all accounts there's not really a need for "[seungri defense!]" anymore is there?
are you not aware of legal rights and process - he has a right to appeal if he feels the judgement unfair or erroneous or that there was a miscarriage justice or the legal requirements were not met, and if he appeals (which it seems very likely) then this current verdict is not final and can be overturned by a higher court, and he can appeal yet again after that. So no, seungri has not exercised all his legal rights as yet and we have not seen the final verdict as yet either. this issue is not over, it's just going to the next phase.

so seungri gets sentenced to 3 years without any actual hard evidence.
meanwhile yoo in suk who actually admitted to everything (with all the evidence incriminating him) gets a 1 year suspended sentence.
choi jong hoon - convicted of gang rape gets 2.5 years sentence.

remember that seungri has the right to appeal (twice) against the sentence.
I guess this is headed for an appeal, I think this will probably go all the way to supreme court because he has nothing to lose now. the worst outcome is already delivered and with such little actual evidence - this is so unexpected considering the media reports on the hearings.
I had a bad feeling about this judge when he elevated an indictment (from incitement to being co-principal) on the last hearing and didn't even give adequate time to the defense to prepare (I guess we know why now - he had already decided on the verdict even before the arguments ended).

with the judge using statement like "it is hard to believe that he did not know" or "it seems he conspired" actually just proves that they couldn't actually prove anything against him, there actually was no evidence (the prosecution itself admitted there wasn't any hard evidence and this very judge (in the last or 2nd last hearing) said that the prosecution was struggling to prove the charge and he failed to see a connection - so what changed) - I guess proving guilt beyond reasonable doubt and the requirement for proof, as is expected in a fair trial was thrown out of the window for this one.

the 24th hearing was the final hearing, only the sentencing remains (and appeal against the sentencing - if any after that) - as yet there is no confirmed date for the sentencing.
