dispatch seems to be reliving their 2019 click-bait fest - there is nothing presented in this so called exclusive that we have not already seen. just dispatch trying to influence the judges, just like they led the police investigation on the basis of their imagination/desires. (because what else could the timing of this article mean - he has consistently denied this charge throughout, it has been discussed in several hearings but the article comes out only when it's time for sentencing).

other than the first msgs about the 'kids who give well'/ 'kids who play well' typo msg - which is the only disputed msg (the msg that prosecution claims is evidence of prostitution and seungri denies and says was a typo and he meant to say 'kids who play well'). the rest of the msgs don't actually allude to any crime just that he had an active sex life like any young person - is dispatch trying to say that any woman he ever had sex with is a prostitute, or just because he was sexually active so of course he must have been talking of prostitutes. Has the prosecution been able to actually produce a prostitute that says she had sex with someone that day and that seungri paid her or asked her - last I heard they couldn't even identify the recipient of the alleged sexual service - so they can't even definitively prove that there was prostitution as a result of the msg in question - they just want to convict someone on the basis of innuendos and typos - unbelievable.

(plus the biggest clue that seungri is not talking about prostitution is that in that msg someone (K) says that seungri is not there so the women might not want to come (or something like why would they come if the celeb is not there) - why would anyone say that about prostitutes, it's a job to them, you pay them, they come - they don't care if a celeb is there or not - on the other hands girls at a club looking for fun aka "kids who play well" might care if they are partying with a celeb or just random rich people).

also for those who seem to think that a typo is too far-fetched:

"I wanted to finish it quickly" - is the statement more than one of his so called 'friends' made in court when they said they were very worried because of their own allegations/investigation that they didn't think carefully about questions (and even made careless assumptions) related to seungri during the investigation because they 'wanted it to finish quickly'. we know for a fact that the instigation to assault charge came about only because of a careless statement made by Jung joonyoung during the police investigation that he later testified was only his assumption and not anything the he factually knew/heard/saw. (i think something similar happened with choi jonghoon and kim)

this is just harassment - he voluntarily took a drug test right at the beginning of 2019 when media spread baseless accusation about him doing drug - he cleared that drug test. he was tested again - cleared that too. he cleared a drug test in 2017, cleared yet another drug test in 2016. the police had to have known this and they still behaved like this during the investigation.

so he said it himself in court - I remember reading articles about how the presidents statement absolutely puts pressure on an investigation to produce results in accordance with public and political pressure - this was cited as one of the reasons why the police was so desperate to arrest seungri at any cost even though he had cooperated fully from the beginning.

the prosecution barely presented any actual evidence.

their case was heavily (entirely in some allegations) reliant on witness statements during the investigative phase, the same witnesses testified in court that the statements were extracted through police coercion and manipulation and the police records do not reflect what they actually said or meant to say. (this very same police threatened to arrest seungri unless he confessed, and they did all this without any evidence whatsoever)

All the prosecutions witnesses testified that seungri had nothing to do with it.

the judge reportedly could not find a clear link between the prosecutions allegation and seungri in the last hearing.

and the prosecution still has the audacity to ask for 5 yrs.

this from the 24th hearing - clearly indicating the lack of any clear evidence.

the sentence capitalized is from one of the two comments i've reported and just like your comment it is quoted exactly as it is (i didn't capitalize it - it was posted like that) - also I never said it was by you.

Also took a break, took one of my adopted kitten to the vet, talked to my family, ate, while covering the trial of a celeb that i support (who has as much right to presumption of innocence as anyone else) while arguing with random strangers - life goes on.
