Which if you read the article states that it was withdrawn because it couldn't actually be served to him. Stating Nayeon "stopped it" is disingenuous. She had no other option.

It's not logical, it's an assumption. An assumption with very little to back it up. Neither Irene or Nayeon have ever mentioned each other, they've never been spotted hanging out and apart from one moment at ISAC 4 years ago, there's not even any interactions. Them having mutual friends doesn't mean they're friends lmao. Are you friends with everyone of your freind's freinds? Didn't think so.

There's very little evidence to suggest she's friends with Irene. She's super close to Yeri though. She's also friends with Sowon and Laboum's Solbin.

This is not actually Seulgi with her either btw. It's one of her non celeb friends.
