Their outfits match their personal style and they make risky choices that turn out well. Their stylists have perfected the blend between edgy, pretty and sexy. Other ggs usually lean more towards to one or another. While BP's outfits manage to be all 3.

When bp debut most ggs used a style that was very uniform like, each one barely distintic from each other

Bp had all the members dressing different, they even joke about it during 2018 when they pedrok fyi with uniform like clothes bc they all were wearing blue

Adding to that, jennie was the first one to get an ab deal, the Lisa, then jisoo and finally rosé which was and it's still a rarity bc it's either a group ab or just a few members so fashion was always linked to their name

they don't feel like fashion was forced to them. others have these brand deals too but when you look at their style and image, they just don't feel expensive and don't suit the brand they are promoting at all. others might have gotten deals just because they are popular but they don't really embody the brand. that's not the case for bp fashion deals.

All the 4 get good fashion CFs but the only one that stands out and set trends is Jennie imo so I'll answer what I think Jennie does that stands out: she actually have skills in fashion and uses things that flatter her style/figure instead of just blindly following whatever is trendy.
