Does Txt musical direction surprise you or not?

They start out very bright/cute with Crown (although with dark lyrics) and now is going full emo over breakup/heartbreak. Did you ever think their music will take a turn like this?

FIRSTLY, I could care less about HYBE, HYBE Family, or BangPD's diet plan. What pisses me off is that you guys are reducing LY TEAR to a bunch of kpop boys crying in photos (no offense to txt).

I look at everything in it's entirety and LY TEAR encompassed way more.

SECONDLY, fans will find a connection with a shoe if it's the same brand and colour in both group's photos, they can get that crazy. I just ignore their "theories" for the most part because it happens within their own spaces. But when y'all are out there taking it as fact and spreading it all around the place. It becomes annoying AF. I'm saying this is in the nicest way possible so that I don't insult TXT or their fans but that isn't LY TEAR. So stop saying that shit.

no one is saying the message is the same or that the concept photos are everything what LY tear encompassed (hybe can try as hard as they want, that album will always be the OG)? if you're someone who doesn't complain about other groups copying bts, that's perfectly fine & i applaud you for not involving yourself in that part of stan culture, but i'm talking about the army, moarmy & others dragging every single group for the smallest detail that is copied from bts, but the second txt does it, people need to move on. it's all just hypocritical.

Sonically is very different tho

It doesn't surprise me but it finds me indifferent. I preferred their bright concepts way more. I don't like their new sound and concept at all.

No. Not to the slightest.

1. They couldn't keep the cute concept forever, let's be honest.
2. Their songs have always followed the current trend (not necessarily just kpop trends, western ones too). There is no new trend, pop-rock trend is still going on, why fix what's not broken.
3. Their concepts always made them victimized sadboys who need a girl (=fans) to depend on emotionally and save them. (I think this was inspired by BTS, their songs in a similar vein all contributed greatly to their early growth, and define their image to this day.) """Emo""" is a PERFECT match for this core concept. Not to mention it feeds into the (false and ridiculous) #notliketheothergirls agenda that their fans have about TXT.
4. Hybe has always tried to forcibly make TXT this so-very-relatable-GenZ group. """Emo""" is once again perfect to further that image.
