The most followed 4th gen group on melon is Gidle with over 100k followers, they’re doing just fine
Reddit? I don’t expect them to have a large fanbase when they debuted 5 months ago.
1M subscribers on youtube is a lot.
IG? They barely post here no point to follow them
You guys are questioning everything about them it’s really weird

Don't just look at followers. They are doing good for a 5 months rookie group right now. At the moment people are liking their songs which mean they have way more casual fans than hardcore one. They just need time to accumulate followers.
Look at their engagement on social media, they are doing pretty good. Just look at their twitter likes and retweet. They are ahead all 4th gent GG except aespa which has insane social engagement especially Twitter.
Ranking social media should be like this when looking at engagement.
1. Aespa = way ahead of everyone especially on twitter.
2. ITZY = doing good on Instagram but poorly on twitter.
3. IVE = doing good on Instagram and great on twitter for a rookies GG.
4. Kep1er then follow by many GG.
I can see IVE overtake Itzy on social media in the future.

As others have said pretty much everything that needs to be said, but I want to take the time out to
shit on their Reddit modstalk about their Reddit . The reason IVE Reddit is so low is because of the mods being too strict. They literally try their hardest to kill any form of engagement there and make it hard for fans to feel comfortable. Most dives don't even bother with it. Their Reddit is basically just a glorified Instagram page at this point, which I guess is how the mods there prefer it. -
This shows that IVE has great songs and many casual listeners love their songs. Their fandom is still obviously small but it’s a good and organic growth. Not many group can boast organic growth like this. Many are built-in based on the labels. I expect IVE will have a strong fandom, slowly but surely.
