knetz were equally mad at the blackpink erasure and honestly i feel like if sm had mediaplayed it as "next gg after blackpink to perform at coachella" or something that acknowledges blackpink and shows how cool it is that they are the next gg to do something that only blackpink (and 2ne1) has done, they would have gotten better responses than trying to completely erase blackpink with a stupid loophole like which stage the groups performed on.
but honestly atleast i realized that bp is popular in korea. ppl have been pushing the narrative that bp isn't popular in korea (they do this with bts too) and how small their korean fandom but the group with an almost 2 year hiatus got a lot of support and im glad to see it. i feel bad for the aespa hate but sm knew what they were doing and prob wanted this.
