Ranking of 4th gen bgs

  • I came across this tweet and realized it's coincidentally an accurate ranking of 4th gen bgs right now. TXT / ENHYPEN > SKZ > TRS. When it comes to album album sales SKZ has a bit more edge but then they also debuted 1-2 years earlier than other groups here so they had more time to build fandom.

Is it generally an agreed ranking? It's very much a NOW list only because I believe the true top bg of new gen still hasn't debuted yet. I'm betting on that new BH group (Trainee A) & SM NBG (not NCT) to actually make some real waves later this year.

  • That seems like a very small difference between 2, 3 and 4 to actually rank them solely on this.

  • No, it's not. Enhypen is the fastest Korean artist to sell 1M copies of one album, they sell more than TXT, they are the fastest group to reach 800M streams on Spotify and they have the highest average engagement across all SM platforms. No one else comes close. They already debuted and they'll be the top group.

  • that tiny gap is the base for your ranking? lmaoo

    it's still Stray Kids>>>>EnhypenTXT>>>>>>Treasure

If you're going to use SKZ debuting a year earlier than TXT, you would also need to take into account that TXT and Enhypen debuted with much, much more hype thanks to being Hybe groups. I'd say those two had a far bigger advantage because of that, actually.

lol btw that account was caught lying like a day ago, don't use it as a source. But not even @/TXTchartdata is trustworthy...even their weverse translation accounts are messy...

So protip, use big Stray Kids data accounts as your source, most of them are very professional and correct themselves if they make mistakes

  • Interesting. Txt is going to go over 8m soon since their comeback is around the corner.

I’m curious about their growth since their hits last year. I was sure thunderous was going to overtake loser lover easily since it was such a hyped comeback compared to txt which was a more under the radar repackage.

  • Here comes the worked up engine

Did I lie? Delusional moas always put them above En- or at the same place in this case which is wrong. They are not at the same level. They even try to claim it's amazing they have 7.5M without the cb as if they didn't have a collab with Alan Walker recently who gifted them a part of his 27M listeners.

  • I don't think you can rank them yet. No one seems to be the clear winner in between EN-, TXT, and SKZ because they beat each other in stats every comeback. Treasure is a step behind currently

Based on their recent comebacks this is the ranking with very small gaps

    1. SKZ

    2. EN-

    3. TXT

    4. Treasure

SKZ did really well this cmb , so if TXT manages to outdo SKZ peaks and albums, they would jump to #1, same to EN-.
