i think this thread is so funny because istg there was a thread floating around yesterday (or the day before that, i don't remember) about how ive is literally flopping

also, i do think ive is doing great, but idk about the "new blackpink" title yet. i also don't think they're doing something completely different, but its also not entirely similar. regardless, ive is in fact gaining a lot of popularity and tbfh as they should.

what do you guys think?

IVE is a rookie group but already is passing every group record aside of some of the 3rd gen
IVE haven't released a mini album or did any promo outside of korea and they are getting big numbers everywhere in the world even in physical sales
IVE Love Dive in spotify global and apple music global is still stable to this day after 2 weeks the song being released
IVE is showing big digital power in domestic charts even when they have to fight with digital monsters like big bang.…

ive is doing well but they might pull off an aespa and only do really well with 1 song only do moderately good with another.

They already did extremely well with their debut and first comeback, and both on international and national charts.

It's not comparable to aespa that didn't do well in either charts at debut and only well (extremely well, which is worth noticing) in South Korea after their first comeback. It's obviously different. They are more similar to Twice that flopped at debut and exploded with Cheer Up that became a massive national hit.

Before someone mentions them, we shouldn't compare IVE to Itzy either for reasons that should be obvious after you read my entire response.

I wouldn't say next BP since BP is album group where their bside also performe better as well as TT but among 4th generation, they are definitely leading internationally.
