And yes, it's very forced. We all know how YG treat their "family". Ask 2NE1, ask BI. And Blackpink still get separated out like they're the YG lepers.

Tbh the only natural yg interactions nowadays are Winpink and Winkon (even if they are minimal).

all companies want fans who are loyal to the label itself it's good for the company in the long run, that's also why hybe pushes this with bts and the younger groups and some fans do buy it
