3 BG's Recent MV Views Compared(BigBang-Stray Kids-NCT Dream)

  • This is using Youtube Official charts which eliminates advert assisted views and reflects the actually total view count of each MV.

The views are up until April 7th. This is the last time the chart updated so I have only counted the views in that time frame to maintain 100% accuracy of advert and real views.

    Stray Kids. Maniac.

    Total views= 57m

    Non ad' views= 39.7m

    Tracking period= 20 days.

Maniac had a total of 17.3 million ad' views. A total of 30.3% were advert assisted views.

    BigBang. Still Life.

    Total views= 28m

    Non ad' views= 28.2m

    Tracking period= 4 days.

Still Life had a total of 0 million ad' views. A total of 0% were advert assisted views.

    NCT Dream. Glitch Mode.

    Total views= 54m

    Non ad' views= 17.5m

    Tracking period= 10 days.

Glitch Mode had a total or 36.5 million ad views. A total of 32.4% were advert assisted views.

    Notes.

Still Life recorded 28.2m views in a single charting week.

NCT and Stray Kid's both used a similar percentage of adverts so far, however, currently Glitch Mode is retaining daily views better with 1.4m to Maniacs 0.76m daily views.

Glitch Mode is likely still running ad's after more than 2 weeks? Most likely.

Respectively Glitch Mode has 1.4m likes while Maniac 2.7m and Still Life 2.8m.

  • Interesting data, thank you for sharing.

I think the tendence is Stray Kids decrease the ads percentage quickly since they don't have ads anymore It's been weeks and they are usually very stable. Thunderous is still doing over 330k daily.

  • Cool for Bigbang. Plus they haven't left the number 1 spot on all Korean streaming platforms since the song came out, except for when other fandoms banded together to push IVE to the top of Bugs. It was heartwarming to see VIPs manage to coordinate for once to get back on top.

  • Good for VIPs for streaming Bigbang’s MV. NCTzens and Stays should learn a thing or two from their seniors
