How is rv doing in Japan after the release of bloom? Did sm ent even promote them?

It flopped. Promo wouldn't have helped it.

Wildside didn't even enter Recochoku top 200 lol and it's not even in the Spotify 200 either, whi h is less than 27k streams needed. Ouch.

Nobody except hardcore fans knew about the release, announcements were being made through a new twitter account with hardly any followers, it was released immediately after the Korean cb when everyone was busy with Feel My Rhythm-related content (due to Avex production delays), it happened out of the blue after RV has had zero presence in JP in years (and arguably minimal presence when they released cookie jar and sappy) ... it was an expected result. Avex is a joke smh.
