Why didn’t LISA’s “MONEY” get a nomination in the BBMA ?

    Money was viral and had large streams It should have at least gotten the top 200 global(exclu.US) song nomination

    There are songs that did much better than money. Look at the no of songs that scored #1 spot for weeks.

    Money wasnt that big in the bb charts, it peaked in the 80s or 90s for one week then fell off

    i think lilies might have deluded themselves with how good money did

    it had a very good run & its tiktok virality translated to an increase of streams,

    but compared to other viral tiktok songs, it didn't do anything relevant.


    Money might have broken a lot of blackpinks records, but there were even non viral songs doing better.

    lisa needs to either really establish herself in the industry (by having a few of songs as succesful as Money) or she needs a GS type of viral hit for a nomination.

    It's just funny when people write essays in response to a thread that is obviously set up to get the subject of the thread bashed.


    Blinks, Lisa stans or even her horrendous akgaes were not even thinking about a nomination.

    It was viral for a short while but didn't reach the peaks of most of the songs on the chart. It also didn't have their longevity in streams and sales either.


    You guys are too blinded because you're looking at it from a kpop perspective where you're not used to seeing such numbers apart from bts. But if you look at it from a global perspective it makes sense. There were bigger songs and even bigger viral songs.

    Perhaps it went viral in other parts of the world, particularly Asia, not the USA.

    Money is not as big as lisa fans make it out to be. It became viral for a month and totally free fell a lot.

    It was a viral song but wasn't promoted enough. Also idc about charts/awards when the song is known among GP, it's already a win.
