It’s the fashion, imo bp real influence on gg comes from the overrall formation/aesthetic/fashion of ggs now. Pretty much every new gg these days is inspired by them fashion wise and you can tell the company took some notes on bp.

Yes. Dior, Chanel, YSL have always been well represented in KPop but I don't think we'd be seeing Celine branded items everywhere without Lisa popularizing it. Hedi Slimane had been head of Celine for about 6 months before Lisa was introduced as muse but no-one was wearing his stuff until after Lisa's Dazed cover.
Now Jennie is associated with Jacquemus we're going to start seeing a lot of his styles on idols. And a designer who styled Lisa for Lalisa says he's been getting many calls from the KPop industry and has already sent off outfits for another girl group.
So, basically Blackpink are doing nothing except parade around in brand clothes. But nothing anywhere music related, for a period of time that starts to exceed the time bg members are MIA because of their military enlistment.
And fans are totally fine and proud of it that Blackpink isn't releasing music or albums and only have fashion activities instead of 1 or more comebacks a year. Wow. Ok, got it.

Right? I agree with you, while i do think some groups took inspiration on their music, their fashion was the biggest one. They changed the ggs image. Remember how they were one of the very few ggs with individual styles when performing? Now it's more common, not just the "uniform" type of clothes.
And the clothes itself, after Jisoo wore the two-in-one piece in KTL era so many idols started wearing it too. Jennie whole solo era is still an inspiration for companies. All BP eras brought something unique to the fashion scene in kpop and just after seeing BP using some clothes, the clothes became trend among the groups.

no, we are not fine with that
but i am use to wester musics releases, so it is normal for me to wait until the next album
at least i know they are not losing relevance because everyone on the kpop industry is looking what the girls are doing on their sides jobs
also i am happy that they are making a LOT OF MONEY with that. Cos it makes me sad when i have a fave that have struggled for many years to get to debut, and end up with debts or no stardom
They have influenced the music and concept as well but yeah fashion and presentation wise the industry is following on their footsteps. We know most kpop fans, especially certain fandoms are bp antis so they will never admit. A designer works on lisa's outfits for her solo and once again companies reach out to them, surely not taking notes from bp. Too many coincidences
