Gfriend, Nuest didn’t get much love from Hybe. Why?

The way Hybe is going all out in mediaplay and budget for Lesserafim but this attitude wasn’t here for Gfriend and Nuest. SM always keeps their old artists even if they start to decline commercially, yet Hybe was fine letting both go. Why didn’t Hybe show much love to now disbanded Gfriend and Nuest?

Maybe because they didn't meet their expectations? They lasted at least 7 years, it's normal that they disbanded.

Gfriend had three comebacks under hybe. hybe obviously wasn't satisfied with their performance and decided to let them go. as for nuest, maybe they didn't want to renew.

it makes sense that they want to focus on new groups only. new kpop fans will get into new groups, not the older ones.

If the group isn't successful then nybe throws them out

Some of you don’t know the difference between promotions and media playing and it shows. Partial nuest members left while the two stayed this could be just the case of wanting to pursue new career after 10 years of group life

Didn't they disband Gfriend after one of their member emberassed their entire group?
