Um, no my parents aren't cool in the sophisticated trendy sense, but they are loving caring parents that tried to give my sibs and I the best life they could afford - even when they really couldn't and had to stretch to make ends meet. We didn't even realize it until later. I am eternally grateful to them.

My parents have different view on some things as me, but we always find a way to understand each other, they just want the best for me.
They're really 'family people' and I think we became like that too, even though we hated going to family trips etc when we were younger, but now we appreciate all the time together.

well, in my view, that's Love right there! As I said earlier, there are many forms and gestures to demonstrate one cares. I'm truly grateful that my parents gave us good values in life, an acute sense of right and wrong. Now that i'm older, i've finally come to understand most of it.
