we were planning to go to Ft. Worth but it didn't work with my friend's schedule so Chicago was the next best bet

I didn't even want to go to Chicago because everything is more expensive and stressful across the board (lodging, gas, traffic, tolls, etc.) but it's more feasible for my friend.

I might end up just driving farther to like Detroit lol
