idc what others say but I personally can't stan or avoid groups who's fandom I can't stand

good for you, you don't care about fandoms but I do and I am sorry that a fandom who constantly attacks my favs all the time and are always nasty towards them, I avoid their favs automatically. what do you think? are you the same or you are above this mentality

apart from enjoying the music, there's a lot of factors that go into stanning a group, cause you cant realistically stan every group whose music you like

I think this is a sound judgement. Sometimes we get real petty because of some fans behavior, that we automatically assumed that the artists would be the same. Sometimes we cannot stan a group due to not being wanting to associate with certain fandoms. It sounds like a you(us) problem, and that is very true. But this problem prevents new fans from interacting. It shouldn't be this way, but it is.

Toxicity plays a huge part. You can deal with this either by not coming on forums/social media and just enjoy the music by itself, or just grow out of it lol.

One of the group I put off back then was BlackPink. However I realized that's a stupid reason to not enjoy music. The ladies are so lovely and funny honestly. You just gotta learn to ignore the fans tbh. This was several years ago.

Just gotta remember that it's the artists who sings to you, not the fans.
