Unstanning a group because of it’s fandom is valid

I really dont see how.. just dont interact with the fandom. If you like a group and its music, but you unstan bc of your cofans, how much did you like the group?

So many people stan while not being involved with the stan culture online.

Well I understand why someone would but I don’t care. If the fandom is freakishly annoying I just leave but I won’t stop listening to the act. It’s not like I stanned the fandom in the first place.

I find being a Seventeen fan very peaceful. This week on another platform they were discussing nose jobs among Seventeen members and no-one popped up to tell them to delete or call them concern trolls or throw threats or denials around. It was "yeah he didn't need to do that to his face, oh well, we love him regardless". Weirdly similar to a normal people conversation!

The Blackpink fandom is very stressful because all four sets of akgaes are constantly trying to destroy the members they don't like, and it's impossible to mute enough words and phrases to keep it off your timeline. It's also become common to attack your own fave under a fake account just to direct hate to another member and get a hashtag trending.

I don't think it's just YG who holds content back from Blinks, I think Blackpink do because they're quietly horrified by their own fans and hope some of them will get bored and go away. Imagine opening twitter and seeing your own face attached to insults being made at your friends...
